The 71st AnnuAl Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the second year in a row, aired last night, January 12, 2014, LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC from the Beverly Hilton. When it came to last night's fashion, the women really delivered. The red carpet was filled with a lot of black and white dresses, reds as well as some silvers and nudes. Unlike other years, only a few women chose a bright color dress.

I always look forward to seeing what Allison Williams wears at events because she always nails it for me. For someone so young and fresh, she really has the chic, classic, feminine thing down. Right out of the gate Williams has been a fashion force in an understated and sophisticated way but always knows when to sass it up. I really admire that about her and hope more girls took a page from her book.

She has managed to make the class full skirt sexy yet still demure and the white blouse architectural and slightly edgy. The pairing of Williams and Nonoo is magic.

Last night, Marin Ireland, Sebastian Stan, Raviv Ullman, and GIRLS stars Zosia Mamet and Allison Williams led a benefit reading of Beth Henley's Pulitzer Prize winning play Crimes of the Heart for The New Group.
