Rehearsals began this week in Atlanta, GA, for the Alliance Theatre's production of ZORRO, a thrilling new musical. Zorro, 'the fox,' was created in 1919 by the writer Johnston McCulley for his serialized novel 'The Curse of Capistrano,' and went on to be immortalized in print, on film, in television and even video games. Now, the legendary character will appear in a swashbuckling new musical set to the thrilling flamenco sound of The Gipsy Kings. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek inside rehearsals for the show. The cast of Pippin will have magic to do at the Music Box Theatre, with preview performances beginning Saturday, March 23, 2013 and opening night on Thursday, April 25, 2013. 'LES MISERABLES' alumni Adam Jacobs (Disney's 'The Lion King,' The Gipsy Kings' 'Zorro'), who played the role of Marius in 'LES MISERABLES' return engagement on Broadway in 2006-2008, and Ali Ewoldt ('West Side Story,' Disney's 'Aladdin'), who played the role of Cosette in the same production, top bill 'A Heart Full of Love: A Concert' at The Town Hall (123 West 43 St.) on Saturday, February 23 at 8 p.m. Click below for a sneak peek of the concert!

Actors' Playhouse will present Broadway's Tony Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights at the Miracle Theatre from March 7 - April 6, 2013.

The Alliance Theatre will stage the critically acclaimed historical drama THE WHIPPING MAN in its first production for Atlanta audiences. Set in Richmond, VA at the close of the Civil War, Matthew Lopez's suspenseful play was described by the New York Times as 'haunting, striking and powerful.' THE WHIPING MAN will run on the Hertz Stage March 8 - April 7, 2013

BroadwayWorld.com noticed something today as we scoured Facebook and it's something that we really liked, so we wanted to share it with you because it's not so often that you find such generosity for actors. This weekend, all roads lead to St. Louis as actors are headed there from all over the country to audition for the Muny's summer production of LES MISERABLES directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and with music direction by Kevin Stites.

Following its acclaimed 16-week run at the Lookingglass Theatre Company this fall, Metamorphoses brings the mythical tales of Ovid to life at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater, 10 years after the Broadway premiere. Written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, Metamorphoses is based on David Slavitt's translation and marks the first time Zimmerman will direct the production since its Broadway run. This is also the first time Zimmerman will stage Metamorphoses in the round, and a custom set will be designed with the largest pool of water ever created for this production. Metamorphoses dives onto the Fichandler Stage tonight, February 8-March 17, 2013.

Olney Theatre Center has announced Jason Loewith as its new Artistic Director. Mr. Loewith began his tenure on February 4, 2013. He comes to Olney Theatre Center from his current position as Executive Director of the National New Play Network.
