Signature Theatre presents a special return engagement of Old Hats, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub, directed by Tina Landau. The production officially opened last night, February 18, and will now play an extended run through April 3, 2016 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Due to demand, The New Group has announced a second extension for Sam Shepard's Buried Child, now playing through April 3. Originally set to play through March 13, an extension through Sunday, March 27 was recently announced for this limited Off-Broadway engagement. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Taissa Farmiga, Ed Harris,Amy Madigan, Larry Pine, Rich Sommer, Paul Sparks and Nat Wolff.    HBO has confirmed the debut date for CONFIRMATION, with the HBO Films drama scheduled to debut SATURDAY, APRIL 16 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

The acclaimed FX drama THE AMERICANS will return for its fourth season on Wednesday, March 16 at 10pm ET/PT, it was announced by Chuck Saftler, President of Program Strategy and COO, FX Networks.

The film details the explosive 1991 Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings, which brought the country to a standstill and forever changed the way we think about sexual harassment, victims' rights and modern-day race relations.

The New Group presents the Off-Broadway premiere of Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, which launched the company's 2015-16 season last night, August 19, 2015 (previews began August 5). MERCURY FUR by Philip Ridley is directed by Scott Elliott and runs at The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (480 West 42nd Street).

Scott Elliott is an award-winning stage director, filmmaker and the founding Artistic Director of The New Group, where he recently directed the critically acclaimed revival of David Rabe's Sticks and Bones. At The New Group, he has directed world premieres by Thomas Bradshaw, Ayub Khan Din, Francine Volpe, Erika Sheffer and Tommy Nohilly; and the world premiere of the 2010 musical The Kid (Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical; Drama Desk and Lucille Lortel Award nominations for Outstanding Musical). Other credits include The New Group's The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie starring Cynthia Nixon; David Rabe's Hurlyburly; and numerous collaborations with Ayub Khan Din, Wallace Shawn and Mike Leigh.
