The 16th Tribeca Film Festival announced the winners of its competition categories at the awards ceremony tonight at BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center.

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of New York State signing of woman's suffrage into law, three years before the US passed the 19th Amendment, Hangar Theatre, Kitchen Theatre Company, Civic Ensemble and Cherry Arts are collaborating on a two-night theater event: Four Plays - 100 Years. Performances will be at Kitchen Theatre Company on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 16 and 17 at 7:30pm.

The Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced its jurors for the 16th edition, comprised of a group of critically acclaimed filmmakers, award-winning actors working across film, television, and stage, accomplished producers, and cultural leaders.

This spring Civic Ensemble joins The Cherry, Cornell University's Department of Performing and Media Arts, Hangar Theatre, and Kitchen Theatre Company to bring three provocative new productions to Ithaca audiences.

The film, which Fortitude will finance, will be produced by Andrew Garfield, Rupert Fowler and Fortitude's Nadine de Barros, was written by Fowler and is currently in development.

James welcomes mentalist Lior Suchard to demonstrate his abilities, guessing Harry Connick Jr's pin number and getting the audience to draw the same image.
