THE REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI Season 3 Premieres Tonight on Bravo

Bravo Media retreats to South Florida to enjoy the sand and surf as 'The Real Housewives of Miami' premieres tonight, August, 12th at 9p.m. et/pt. The Housewives who are back for another dose of drama are Lea Black, Adriana de Moura, Alexia Echevarria, Lisa Hochstein and Joanna Krupa. Also returning in recurring roles this season are Marysol Patton and Ana Quincoces.

Sondheim Artscape Prize Exhibition on View at the Walters Art Museum, Now thru August 11

The Walters Art Museum and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) present the Sondheim Artscape Prize: 2013 Finalists. On view at the Walters today, June 29-August 11, 2013, the exhibition showcases artwork by the finalists for the annual Janet & Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize, a $25,000 fellowship that is given each year to a visual artist or visual artist collaborators living and working in the Greater Baltimore region. M&T Bank has partnered with BOPA to establish the M&T Bank Sondheim Finalists' Awards, which provide a $2,500 honorarium for each of the remaining finalists not selected for the fellowship.

Born in Finland in 1883, Ivan Kivinen was a devout communist who moved to St. Petersburg after the Russian revolution. Unfortunately, Finns soon became suspect as relations between Finland and Russia deteriorated. Ivan became a victim of Stalin's paranoid purges, accused of being a Finnish spy he was executed in 1937. It wasn't until 1992 that playwright Maria Kivinen, his great-granddaughter, received a letter of rehabilitation, effectively clearing his name.

Co-Grand Prize Winners Named at McCallum Theatre's OPEN CALL

Saxophonist Emma Reinhart and Vocalist April Murphy shared the Helen Turner Grand Prize Award at the McCallum Theatre's Annual Open Call Talent Competition on Saturday night, the first time in the event's fifteen year history the judges declared a tie for the top prize. The winners were announced by host (and Open Call 2011 Grand Prize winner) Rob Watkins following a rousing finale which featured all twenty-two finalist acts (76 individual performers) before a sold-out audience. The family of award namesake Helen Turner determined on the spot that each winner would receive the $2,500 grand prize.
