Genesis Theatrical Productions will open its staged reading series called First Generation on Monday, April 25 at 7:30pm with the Chicago premiere of Exit 27 by Aleks Merilo.

In its seventeenth year, Central Ohio's longest running shorts festival presents 3 very distinct nights of new works rotating over 3 weekends culminating in the final day when all 3 nights of programming are performed.

The Boomerang Theatre Company (Tim Errickson, Artistic Director) will present their annual FIRST FLIGHT New Play Festival from March 16th-19th, 2016. Five new full length plays will be featured with free public readings. The festival will take place at Studio 501 @ CAP21, 18 West 18th Street in New York City.

EXIT 27 by Aleks Merilo, produced by Southwest Theatre Productions at the Boyd Vance Theatre is a fascinating study in mind control and the effects of cult religion on the innocent.

After a two-month submission period and hundreds of submissions from around the world, Sanguine is pleased to announce 6 finalists for its annual Project Playwright Competition. The winner of the competition receives a fully-produced world premiere of their play in New York City as a part of Sanguine's 2016 season.

'The Widow of Tom's Hill' is now at 59E59 through November 15th. Written by Aleks Merilo and directed by Rachel Spaulding, the show stars Lucy Lavely and Derek Grabner in a gripping, dramatic story.

(Janet McCall and David Spaulding, producers) with the New York premiere of THE WIDOW OF TOM'S HILL, written by Aleks Merilo and directed by Rachel Black Spaulding. THE WIDOW OF TOM'S HILL begins performances on Thursday, October 29 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 15. Press opening is Tuesday, November 3 at 7:30 PM. Sibley, Aleks Merilo, Steven Young, Gina Femia, Brent Englar, Thomas C. Dunn, Eljon Wardally, and Caity Shea Violette. Local actors include: Julie Alexander, RT Brown, Mia Burnett, Claude Diener, Kenya Fashaw, Sarah Fischer, Valerie Igoe, Casey A.
