From March 13 - April 19, 2009 Lakewood presents the classic French farce A Flea In Her Ear by Georges Feydeau (a sparkling new translation by David Ives) on the Headlee Mainstage at Lakewood Center for the Arts.
Lakewood Theatre Company will celebrate its 56th anniversary season. Season tickets for the 2009 season are on sale now and prices range from $140.00 - $150.00. Straight from London's National Theatre to L.A. Theatre Works, Stacy Keach and Julian Sands star in the American Premiere of David Hare's streamlined version of Bertolt Brecht's The Life of Galileo. LATW opens its 2007-08 season with five performances at the Skirball Cultural Center, October 17-21, each recorded to air on LATW's nationally-syndicated weekly radio theater series, 'The Play's The Thing.'
