A BRONX TALE opens on Broadway tonight, December 1, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). The new musical, featuring a book by Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri, music by Oscar, Grammy, and Tony Award winner Alan Menken, and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Oscar and Tony Award nominee Glenn Slater, co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by Tony nominee Sergio Trujillo, began performances on Thursday, November 3 and features a cast of 30 including Tony-nominee, Nick Cordero and 'Hamilton' alumn, Ariana DeBose.

The York Theatre Company, dedicated to the development of new musicals and preserving musical gems from the past, has announced that several of Broadway's best - Carolee Carmello (Finding Neverland), Sutton Foster (Anything Goes), Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago), Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon), and Bernadette Peters (George M) (all subject to change) - are scheduled to appear as guest performers to honor legendary Oscar- and Tony Award-winner Joel Grey with the 25th Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at the 2016 Oscar Hammerstein Award Gala on Monday, December 5, 2016 at The Asia Society (725 Park Avenue).

Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway In Chicago announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Monday, December 5. The hit Broadway musical will launch its North American tour in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre with performances beginning on Tuesday, April 11, 2017.

The look on Belle's (Emma Watson) face in the newest BEAUTY AND THE BEAST sneak peek photo makes it clear that she wishes she could swipe left on this conversation, but Gaston (Luke Evans) couldn't appear more undeterred. Originally published by EMPIRE magazine, the photo, which depicts Gaston and Belle at a market (Gaston with ostentatious bouquet in hand) is the latest snippet of the long-awaited film. The stunning trailer destroyed viewing records when it was released two weeks ago.
