After two successful nights in 2016, Ben Rimalower will return to both New York and Los Angeles with his acclaimed long-running solo plays, PATTI ISSUES (about his obsession with Broadway diva Patti LuPone and his relationship with his troubled gay father) and BAD WITH MONEY (about how an addiction to spending beyond his means has driven him to extreme lengths all his life). New York performances will be at The Duplex (61 Christopher Street at Seventh Avenue) on Sunday, February 19 and Sunday, March 19. Los Angeles performances will be Casita Del Campo's Cavern Club Celebrity Theater (1920 Hyperion Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90027) on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4. Tickets are available separately and for the combined evening of both shows.

Just days after calling on the controversial Miami Seaquarium to free the marine park's lone orca, Lolita, big-hearted Tony Award winner Alan Cumming was recognized with PETA's Humanitarian Award during a special Valentine's Day bash in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday. The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts today announced a major new addition to its 25th Anniversary NIGHT OF STARS, which will be presented on Today, February 11, at 7 pm.  Darren Criss, perhaps best known for his years co-starring in the TV hit Glee, is replacing the previously announced Patti LuPone, who is opening on Broadway this spring in the new musical War Paint.

National New Play Network, the country's alliance of nonprofit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces the World Premiere of its 2012-13 Annual Commission, Harbur Gate by Kathleen Cahill, at Core Member Salt Lake Acting Company (SLAC). The Commission, which was awarded to Ms. Cahill in collaboration with Salt Lake Acting Company, will receive its first professional production from February 8-March 12.
