TV Land has ordered 10-episode first seasons of two new single-camera comedies, 'Impastor' and 'Teachers,' it was announced today by TV Land President Larry W. Jones. Both series will premiere on TV Land in 2015.

On the heels of the successful world premiere of DEXTER on basic cable, NUVOtv, the leading English-language destination for Latino entertainment, today revealed its dynamic programming lineup of new and returning original series for spring 2014. The countdown has begun to the series finale of the iconic Showtime drama series DEXTER, which airs this Sunday, September 22 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Today, the network released a special trailer that takes a look back at Dexter Morgan's conflicted journey over the past eight seasons and everyone who has ended up on his kill table.

On VEGAS' upcoming season finale, titled 'Sons of Nevada,' Sheriff Lamb and Savino join forces to take out Porter Gainsley, the man responsible for putting Katherine in the hospital and who Lamb believes killed his wife. Meanwhile, Jack plans to propose to Mia, on Friday, May 10 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Showtime's president, David Nevins, confirmed the network is considering a spin-off of the hit show, which would follow Deb, Dexter's foster sister, played by Jennifer Carpenter.

In a special announcement this afternoon made directly to DEXTER's 13 million fans on the show's Facebook page, SHOWTIME confirmed that the upcoming eighth season of the groundbreaking series will be its final one. The announcement coincided with the release of an exclusive tease from the premiere of the series' eighth and final season, which debuts on Sunday June 30th at 9 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. The series premiered on the network on October 1, 2006 and has grown its loyal audience every season since its debut. DEXTER was the recipient of the prestigious Peabody Award, as well as 25 Emmy and 10 Golden Globe Award nominations, and was twice named one of AFI's top ten television series.

On VEGAS' upcoming episode, titled 'Hollywood Ending,' Lamb, Jack and Katherine take advantage of the phone tap in Savino's office and try to get evidence on how Savino works the skim, making District Attorney Reynolds very nervous. Meanwhile, Dixon and Yvonne arrive in Los Angeles to visit Violet at a movie studio, and Yvonne finally gets the chance to show off her beautiful singing voice at a big Hollywood party. Also, Mia is shocked when her presumed dead mother, Lena, arrives at the Savoy and sets her sights on Savino, on Friday, April 12 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS. Series star Michael Chiklis directed the episode.

University of Michigan's Basement Arts kicked off its latest season with a production of Proof. Basement Arts is an entirely student run organization that puts on shows through out the year. They are excited to have started their season with the well-known play by David Auburn and proud of how the production turned out.
