The Warner Archive Collection announces its newest releases:

Hershey Area Playhouse announces an update and its directors for the 2014 season. The theatre was originally scheduled to open the season with the musical The Fantasticks, but due to a national tour now coming through the area at the same, the rights are no longer available. Instead, the Playhouse artistic committee is excited to feature the musical comedy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

'The Game's Afoot,' a hilarious new whodunit from the master of comedy Ken Ludwig, begins performances August 14, 2013 at Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County, Wisconsin's theatrical icon. 'The Game's Afoot,' has a three- week run with performances Tuesday through Sunday through Sept. 1, 2013.

Producers Jeffrey Richards and John N. Hart Jr., in association with the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), have announced that the box office will open on Thursday, August 8th for the 17-week limited engagement of the critically-acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie at the Booth Theatre (222 W 45th Street) with performances beginning Thursday, September 5, 2013, and an opening night set for Thursday, September 26th. The production will star multiple Tony and Emmy Award-winner Cherry Jones as Amanda Wingfield, film and stage star Zachary Quinto as Tom, two-time Tony-nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger as Laura, and Brian J. Smith as Jim, the Gentleman Caller.

The Shakespeare Theatre Company (STC) has selected Academy Award nominee Elizabeth McGovern as the 2013 recipient of The William Shakespeare Award for Classical Theatre (Will Award). Northport's oldest Theatre group, The Minstrel Players are proud to be staging the longest running show in London Theater history with their first-time staging of Agatha Christie's classic murder-mystery THE MOUSETRAP. They are coming off their successful second all-original One Act Play Festival this summer --- IT HAPPENED ONE ACT II. Performances will be on Saturday, October 26th & November 2nd at 8 P.M and 3 P.M. matinee performances on Sunday, October 27th & November 3rd at Houghton Hall - Trinity Episcopal Church, 130 Main Street in scenic Northport Village.
