Dates and casting have announced for new National Theatre season!

Tickets are now on sale for the National Theatre's Olivier and Tony Award-winning production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's best-selling book, and directed by Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott (WAR HORSE, CURIOUS INCIDENT).

One of the most instantly noticeable things about War Horse is the diversity of its audience's ages: a children's book if enjoyed by many a parent or independent adult turned into a play and attended by schoolchildren, twenty-somethings and those, like Michael Morpurgo himself, who spent childhoods playing in the bomb sites created by the Second World War.

As WAR HORSE opens its 10th Anniversary Tour tonight (3 October) at The Marlowe Theatre, Canterbury, it is announced that due to demand, the National Theatre's critically-acclaimed production will return to the venue from 27 February - 16 March 2019.

The Marlowe Theatre has been chosen as the launch venue for a major new UK tour of WAR HORSE.

Rehearsals began this week for the 34-strong cast of a major tour UK tour of the National Theatre's internationally acclaimed production of War Horse, which begins performances on 15 September 2017 (with press night on 3 October) at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury and continues on a 15 city tour until February 2019.

What a deliciously exciting and provocative evening in the theatre! The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's novel, comes to vivid life as a play within a play with a fascinating array of visual effects, a dynamite ensemble and a remarkable performance by Adam Langdon under the skilled direction of Marianne Elliott. It graces the Ahmanson stage through September 10 only.

National Theatre Live presents ANGELS IN AMERICA, Tony Kushner's multi-award-winning two-part play.
