The 2017 Broadway season at Starlight Theatre will conclude on a high-heeled note later this month with the huge-hearted hit musical Kinky Boots. The national tour of Broadway's 2013 Tony Award-winning Best Musical takes the Starlight stage for three nights only the weekend of Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

TROIKA Entertainment is thrilled to present KINKY BOOTS, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for KINKY BOOTS), at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, S.D.

As reported on BroadwayWorld yesterday, the complete cast for the US National Tour of Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper's smash-hit musical, KINKY BOOTS, has been announced. Featured in the cast in the role of Don is South African-born Adam du Plessis, whom audiences may recall seeing in productions like THE LAST 5 YEARS, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, THE BOYS IN THE PHOTOGRAPH and CATS.

When a person goes to see a performance, there are some instances in which he or she wishes that the characters portrayed on stage were real - that the plot was truly unfolding right before the audience's collective eye, and the circumstances which constitute the story being told would allow for more than simply a reaction. What occurs actually begins to engage the audience, compelling those watching to do more than simply go along for the ride, or join the epic adventure on which so-and-so is about to embark - an adventure through the jungles of a new land, or perhaps that towards self-discovery.
