Broadway In Chicago Presents RENT 3/31-4/12

Broadway In Chicago is thrilled to present the Chicago engagement of RENT, produced by Jeffrey Seller, Kevin McCollum, and Allan S. Gordon, for a limited engagement March 31 to April 12, 2009. Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, and Gwen Stewart will reprise the roles they originated on Broadway in RENT at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre.

Touring Co Of RENT Offers $20 Lottery Tix To Show 3/25-29

The Rent touring company and Hennepin Theatre Trust are pleased to announce that a limited number of $20 seats in the front two rows of the main floor/orchestra will be made available through a lottery drawing for every performance of Rent. The Pulitzer Prize and Tony(r) Award-winning musical starring Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp returns to the Twin Cities to play the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis from Wednesday-Sunday, March 25-29, 2009.

Seats in the front two rows of the orchestra will be made available for $20 for every performance of RENT, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony? Award-winning musical, at ASU Gammage, March 17-22. The $20 tickets go on sale at the ASU Gammage Box Office, on the day of performance only, two hours prior to the show and are available to anyone, cash only, with a limit of two tickets per person. No parking will be available in the ASU Gammage parking lot.

Spanger & Carpinello Join Maroulis for ROCK OF AGES, Full Casting Announced, Previews Start at Atkinson 3/17

The producers of ROCK OF AGES announced the complete, awesome cast for Broadway's new, smash hit musical today. Constantine Maroulis, ('American Idol' Season 4, Broadway's The Wedding Singer, RENT) reprising his critically acclaimed role as 'Drew', is now joined by Broadway's best 1970's & 1980's period actors Amy Spanger (The Wedding Singer, Kiss Me Kate) as 'Sherrie' and James Carpinello (Saturday Night Fever, VH1's 'So NoTORIous') as 'Stacee Jaxx'.

RENT Starring Pascal, Rapp, Stewart Comes To ASU Gammage

Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp and Gwen Stewart will reprise the roles they originated on Broadway in RENT, The Broadway Tour, which comes to Tempe's ASU Gammage, March 17-22, 2009. Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp and Gwen Stewart originated the roles of Roger Davis, Mark Cohen and 'Seasons of Love' soloist, respectively, at New York Theatre Workshop and on Broadway. Justin Johnston (Angel), Michael McElroy (Collins) - who are also in the touring show -and Stewart were all members of the final company of RENT which played its last performance on Broadway September 7, 2008. Adam Pascal received Obie and Theatre World awards and Tony and Drama Desk nominations for best actor for RENT. On Broadway he also originated the role of Radames in the hit musical Aida and starred as the Emcee in the long-running revival of Cabaret. His film credits include Rent, School of Rock, SLC Punk!, Temptation and Goyband. An actor since the age of six, Anthony Rapp has appeared on Broadway in Precious Sons (Outer Critics Circle Award), Six Degrees of Separation, and the revival of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. His films include Adventures in Babysitting, School Ties, Dazed and Confused, Six Degrees of Separation, David Searching, Man of the Century, Road Trip, A Beautiful Mind, Open House, Winter Passing, Danny Roane: First Time Director and Scaring the Fish. His book, Without You: a Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent, about his experiences on and offstage, was published in 2006 by Simon & Schuster and became a national bestseller.

Bob The Builder LIVE! Cancelled At ASU 3/8, Refund Issued

The Bob the BuilderTM LIVE! Spud's Big Mess performances scheduled at ASU Gammage for Sunday, March 8 have been cancelled. ASU Gammage apologizes for any inconvenience. A full refund will be issued to all patrons who have purchased tickets and should contact the ASU Gammage Box Office at 480.965.3434 to make arrangements. Tickets purchased by credit card will automatically be refunded. If not purchased by credit card you will need to return your tickets to where you purchased them.

Adam Pascal now starring in RENT at the Pantages in L.A. was caught by the TMZ cameras and gave the gossip news site his thoughts on Jeremy Piven using 'sushi to bail on his Broadway play SPEED-THE-PLOW -- calling Piv's excuse 'crap' and total bull'.
