Meet the Cast: THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA US Tour- Part 1!

Just last week, Cameron Mackintosh and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Group announced the casting and initial tour schedule for their spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera launching a major North American Tour in Providence, R.I. at the Providence Performing Arts Center. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM, the most successful musical of all-time, will be performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this one of the largest productions on tour in North America. REAL HOUSEWIFE Kim Pirrella to Join MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING, FUNERAL, 10/12-13

Kim Pirrella most commonly known as the matriarch of the Marco sisters on the Real Housewives of New Jersey will step into the role of Jersey girl lipstick lesbian diva 'Lucia Fuccio' in both 'My Big Gay Italian Wedding' and 'My Big Gay Italian Funeral' on October 12th and 13th. The role was originated by and is still currently played by Liz Gericitano who is stepping out for her real life wedding.

ME AND JEZEBEL Off-Broadway Revival Opens Tonight at Snapple Theater Center

Drew Friedman, in association with Robert R. Blume (Executive Producer of the Drama Desk Awards) will present the 20th anniversary, off-Broadway revival of Elizabeth Fuller's international hit comedy ME AND JEZEBEL, a play based on a true story about the irascible queen of Hollywood, Bette Davis. Previews began Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 8PM and the official opening is tonight, July 24, 2013 at 8PM at the Snapple Theater Center (210 West 50th St.), in Manhattan. Mark S. Graham directs.

MY BIG GAY ITALIAN WEDDING & MY BIG GAY ITALIAN FUNERAL Extend Through 12/29

What began as a twelve show revival of My Big Gay Italian Wedding, has now become the Wedding and the Funeral running in rep till the end of the year. My Big Gay Italian Wedding will play every Saturday at 8pm and My Big Gay Italian Funeral will play every Sunday at 7pm till December 29th, 2013. My Big Gay Italian Wedding will also celebrate its ten year anniversary on November 2nd, 2013 with a very special performance.

City Theatre Announces Casting and Directors for SUMMER SHORTS 2013

John Manzelli, producing Artistic Director of City Theatre, announced that casting and director slots are complete for Summer Shorts 2013, the eighteenth edition of fast and often hilarious short plays that South Florida theatre audiences have come to expect as the perfect kick-off to summer theatre. The Annual Summer Shorts Festival includes an all-new Summer Shorts production, a new family musical and CityWrights: Professional Weekend for Playwrights including the announcement of the winners of the 2nd Annual City Theatre National Award For Short Playwriting.

Ramona Rizzo and Karen Gravano of the hit VH1 series "Mob Wives" will be publicly make a stand in support of marriage equality today, December 1st when they officiate the wedding of "Anthony" and "Andrew" in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "My Big Gay Italian Wedding." This will be the ladies' debut on the NYC stage.
