According to published reports, stage veteran EDdie Izzard will guest star on season three of CBS' 'The Good Wife' as Abbott Thrush, an Upper Class English Barrister.

The nominations were released this morning for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards. Mad Men topped the list with 19 nominations, followed by Boardwalk Empire with 18, Modern Family with 17, Saturday Night Live with 16, Game of Thrones and 30 Rock with 13 and GLEE with 12. The Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), a new offshoot of the Broadcast Film Critics Association, today announced nominations for the inaugural Critics' Choice Television Awards, hosted by Cat Deeley and scheduled to take place at a luncheon at the Beverly Hills Hotel on June 20, 2011. ABC was the most nominated broadcast network with 16 nominations, followed closely by NBC with 12. AMC and FX led nominations for cable networks, with nine each. Modern Family was the most nominated series with six.

According to Deadline.com, Tony winner Alan Cumming has signed on for three more seasons of CBS' 'The Good Wife.' Cumming, who stars as campaign manager Eli Gold in the series, will becoming a series regular.

Logo's fourth annual 'NewNowNext Awards' returned to Los Angeles last night in a live spectacle brimming with recent-breakthrough celebrities, pop culture phenomena and tomorrow's next big things, keeping Logo at the forefront of what's trending with today's 'in' crowd. Hosted by James Van Der Beek, the show honored Lady Gaga with the esteemed 'Always Next, Forever Now Award' and featured musical performances by Robyn, Panic! at the Disco, Oh Land and Wynter Gordon. Logo's 'NewNowNext Awards' 2011 premieres Monday, April 11 at 10/9C on Logo.

According to TVGuide.com, Sarah Silverman will join the long list of Broadway veterans who have starred on CBS' 'The Good Wife.'

Logo, the entertainment network for gays, lesbians and their families and friends announced today the nominees for the 2011 'NewNowNext Awards.' Now in its fourth year, this awards show will not look at the year that passed, but will instead focus on what is up-and-coming in popular culture in 2011 and beyond.

According to EW.com, F. Murray Abraham and Rita Wilson are both set for guest starring roles on CBS' THE GOOD WIFE. Both will star as lawyers in an episode in February.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

According to deadline.com, amongst a short list of announced Primetime Emmy Award presenters is Broadway veteran and GLEE superstar Matthew Morrison . Fellow Emmy nominees January Jones, Julianna Margulies, and Sofia Vergara along with Ricky Gervais and John Krasinski are the first group of presenters announced for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards.

Tom O'Neil, author of the LA Times Gold Derby column, has revealed that fan favorite, Neil Patrick Harris, has just been granted a third 2010 Primetime Emmy nomination for his performance as the 2009 Tony Awards host in the category of Special-Class Program. Why the delay, as nominees were announced on July 8? An oversight, according to O'Neil.
