The Long Beach International Film Festival (LBIFF) will be celebrating its 4th Anniversary as they bring a fresh line up of exciting films from around the world to Long Island. Taking place this weekend, September 24-27th primarily in the City of Long Beach, NY the event will once again branch off into Rockville Centre as well.

The Madison Theatre at Molloy College of Rockville Centre, New York (Angelo Fraboni, Artistic Director), will present a benefit reading of Long Island Express Plays, written by Eugene Pack, on Sunday, October 28, at 3pm. The reading will star Noah Fleiss ("Fringe"), Helen Hanft (Moonstruck), Carol Kane ("Cheers," Princess Bride, "Taxi"), Natasha Lyonne (American Pie, "Weeds"), and Dayle Reyfel (Drama Desk Winner for Celebrity Autobiography).

This October, Chiller gets into the spirit with two all-new premieres: original movie Dead Souls (Friday, October 12 @ 9pm) and original documentary The American Scream (Sunday, October 28 @ 8pm).

Production has commenced in Canterbury, CT on Dead Souls, Chiller's all-new original movie slated to premiere in October 2012. Adapted from the novel by Bram Stoker Award Finalist Michael Laimo, the film is written by John Doolan and directed by Colin Theys; Andrew Gernhard and Zach O'Brien will produce for Synthetic Cinema International.
