The New York Philharmonic and Warner Bros. will present the return of Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II, a program celebrating classic Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons with the New York Philharmonic playing the music live while the animation is screened.

Emmy Award winner George Daugherty will conduct in his Philharmonic debut, and Academy Award winner and New York Philharmonic Board Member Whoopi Goldberg will appear as a special guest. The concerts take place tonight, May 15, 2015, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 16 at 2:00 p.m.; and Saturday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.

The San Antonio Symphony is going "Looney," in April with the Bugs Bunny at the Symphony II 25th anniversary concert, which features a spectacular fusion of classical music and classic animation that celebrates the most famous and beloved cartoons in the world - and their equally famous music.

The Missouri History Museum is a perfect venue for Chuck Lavazzi's retooled cabaret show JUST A SONG AT TWILIGHT, since it allows a number of slides to be projected (courtesy of Marjorie Williamson) which give life to Lavazzi's recollections of the golden age of vaudeville. There is also a very personal element to this presentation since Lavazzi explains that these classic, and largely forgotten tunes, were sung to him and his brother by his mother as lullabies. This combined with the informative nature of the show make for a uniquely pleasant, at times melancholy, and often amusing production by the West End Players Guild.
