God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater is Kurt Vonnegut’s fifth novel and was published in 1965. Its Post-Modern Satire context paved way for Vonnegut’s Slaughterhouse-Five, arguably his most well-known work. In the novel, Vonnegut highlights the life and times of the consciously-bound multi-millionaire Eliot Rosewater.

Veteran progressive activist and TV-film-stage producer Scott Robbe died on Sunday, November 21, 2021, according to a statement by Paul Algiers, a longtime friend and the executor of Scott Robbe's estate. Robbe was in hospice care at the home of his sister, Angela, in Hartford, Wisconsin.

The York Theatre Company will present God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater, the 49th musical presentation in its Musical in Mufti Series of staged concerts, by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, based on the Kurt Vonnegut bestseller, on April 1, 2, and 3.
