In April, Jette Parker Artists and The Royal Opera present a double bill of Bohuslav Martinů’s surreal Larmes de couteau, written in 1928, along with John Harbison’s rarely performed 1977 adaptation of W.B. Yeats’ motif-laden play, Full Moon in March.

Following last season's success with A Monster Calls, The Watermill's Youth Ensemble take the stage with another thrilling production. Since its post-pandemic launch, the Youth Ensemble has established itself as an integral part of The Watermill's programming. Participants of any of The Watermill's regular Outreach groups are eligible to join the Youth Ensemble productions, offering the opportunity to create a full-scale production on the venue's professional stage.

The Royal Opera has announced the Jette Parker Artists (JPA) for the 2022/23 Season. Committed to generating opportunities for the next generation of musical professionals, the JPA Programme offers apprenticeships for curious artists of exceptional talent looking to intensify their training and professional development.

From N2P - the creative team who brought you the sell-out show Play 2 - comes; GRIP. a brand new piece of writing about trauma, accusations, psychosis and suspicion. GRIP. is based on a true and previously untold story. It bravely takes on one of the most divisive oversights in today's legal system.

'MEIWES/BRANDES' is a daring, raw and original piece of music theatre created by four RADA graduates, which chronicles the true story of a dark and disturbing relationship. It premiers in February at The Actors Centre as part The Tristan Bates Theatre's inaugural 'John Thaw Initiative.'

Recent graduates of the RADA/Birkbeck MA Text and Performance course have collaborated to create a story of dystopian abstraction; a tale of optimism that has the possibility to resonate with us all. Programmed as one of the pieces at this year's Camden Fringe, Nothing to Perform is a funny, blunt and unpredictable piece about three caretakers from the north-east of England who have written, rehearsed and produced a play that no one will ever see.

'Nothing to Perform' is a play about nothing. Davey is a 25 year old working class lad from the north-east of England and he has reached a dead-end.

Audiences attending the New York Classical Theatre's current production of Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale in Manhattan's Battery Park are experiencing a rare treat- the words of the Bard being spoken in lilting Jamaican 'patois'- or dialect- by award winning actor David Heron, who appears as King Polixenes of Bohemia in the show.

Jonathan and Kimbirdlee Fadner created Common Man Musicals to produce new works of musical theatre that are relevant, relatable and affordable. Common Man Musicals launches this June with four original short musicals, presented Friday, June 17 through Monday, June 20 at 7:00pm at the Main Street Theatre &Dance Alliance on Roosevelt Island.
