Caffe Cino is also highly significant as a pioneer in the development of LGBTQ+ theater, at a time when it was still illegal to depict homosexuality on stage.

CAFFE CINO: ONE ACTS will feature selections from Dames at Sea by George Haimsohn, Robin Miller, Jim Wise (1966); The Zoo Story by Edward Albee (1958); The Madness of Lady Bright by Lanford Wilson (1964); and Goodnight, I Love You by William M. Hoffman (1965).
