About The Show

The Lattice Crashes: by Derek Lee McPhatter
Directed by Pat Golden

Unless a computer technician on the super-network can recover the "true story" about a gay-bashing event at a college in 2002, the incident will be deleted from history. Yet no one is telling the truth-not the victim, not the assailant, and certainly not their mothers.

Featuring a cast of seven and set literally inside a computer network, The Lattice Crashes is conceived as a two-act play with live performances by seven principal actors, interspersed with multimedia components and experimental sound.

This workshop production is made possible, in part, by support from the Harlem Arts Alliance, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the Puffin Foundation.
