Dream Up Festival Announces Make-up Shows After Hurricane

To compensate for shows canceled during Hurricane Irene, Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival has added the following performances:

"Dogmouth" (theater) 9/3 9:00 PM Johnson theater

"Blood/Nectar/Glitter" (dance) 9/3 9:00 PM Cabaret Theater

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, presents the 2011 Dream Up Festival, a wide array of theatrical performances by artists from New York, the continental U.S. and abroad including Austria and Puerto Rico. Each show has a minimum of 5 performances.

TNC has consistently been the most inexpensive theater of its caliber and the institution continues its commitment to affordable tickets with this festival. Ticket prices range from $12-$15 for the participating productions. Performances will be entirely at Theater for New City, 155 First Avenue(between 9th and 10th Streets).
