Disenchanted Opens At the Planet Connections Festivity June 21

'Disenchanted', a new musical by Nikki M. Jenkins will premiere on June 21st with a cast including *Doreen Montalvo (Broadway: In the Heights) and *Ben Liebert (Broadway: Wicked), and also including *Joshua James Campbell (Nat'l Tour: Legally Blonde), Jerome Amanquiton, Jenna Bitow, *Jennifer Mintzer, Kristin Mularz, and *Nikki M. Jenkins. An "urban fairytale," 'Disenchanted' is a story that proves "the truth isn't always black and white," telling the story of a young woman whose journey toward self acceptance leads her on an adventure she'd never imagined.

'Disenchanted' will premiere at the Planet Connections Festivity in New York City in June. An "eco-friendly/socially conscious not-for-profit theatre festival," Planet Connections fosters a diverse cross-section of performances. The festival seeks to inspire artists and audiences both creatively and fundamentally, in a festive atmosphere forming a community of like-minded artists. At the heart of the festivity are individuals striving to create professional, meaningful theatre, while supporting organizations give back to the community at large.
