Country Musical HIT SONG! to Hold Staged Readings at the Davenport Theatre on May 19th
Private industry readings of new musical, HIT SONG!, will be presented at The Davenport Theatre on May 19th, 2015 at 5:00pm and 8:00pm in New York City.
HIT SONG! is a new musical about an autistic boy abandoned by his country music star father. When tragedy strikes and his mother takes her life, the father returns and he and his son reunite and connect through their mutual love for music.
Directed by Robyn Lee and Produced by Sheila Shayon, the reading will feature Bart Shatto, Kat Papacostas, Niles Gunning, Susann Fletcher, Corey Camperchioli, and Sean Jenness. Production Assistants include Krysi Newman and Jay-T Jenkins.
The new musical will feature book, music, and lyrics by Keith Edwards. Musical direction will be provided by Rachel A. Kaufman.
