Unbalancing Acts is a series of new short plays produced by budding theatre company Wind Up Productions. Unbalancing Acts will be playing Friday, June 4th at 8PM, Saturday, June 5th at 3PM and 8PM, Sunday June 6th at 3PM at THE SPOON THEATRE located 38 West 38th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue. Tickets are now on sale on the web www.windupproductionsonline.com or at the door.

After a countless number of submissions Wind Up Productions' members have selected six short plays to produce as one new works called Unbalancing Acts. The unifying factor in each of the ten-minute plays is that the characters have reached a catalyst. All are at a stopping point where their unbalanced ways of life have to be changed in order to move forward, or their circumstances must be abandoned completely whether it be the relationships they're in or otherwise.

Unbalancing Acts is directed by Wes Seals and Sarabeth Wager; Lighting Design Eli Polofsky; Set Design Haley Ho; Costume Design Kristin Fiebig and Stage Management Erin McBride. Ensemble - Michael Dalto, Kelly Bouma, Halley Cianfarini, Frank Paiva, Paul Chamberlain, Lea McKenna-Garcia, Christopher Ketner, Meaghan Sloane, and William Allgood.

Wind Up Productions came together in true New York starving artist fashion - working together at a Times Square restaurant. The company quickly achieved non-profit status through umbrella company The Field and within a month of forming had booked six weeks of Off-Broadway theatre space. They used this time to produce stand up comedy shows, original one-man shows, a cabaret, and an original full-length play, The McCarthy Account, written by founding member Bob Bazer.
