Vineyard Theatre Auctions Wig Out! Costumes Designed By Toni-Leslie James' 5/18
Wig Out! costumes designed by Obie Award-winner Toni-Leslie James to be auctioned online
The Vineyard Theatre will auction Toni-Leslie James' Obie Award-winning costumes from its recent production of Tarell Alvin McCraney's WIG OUT! via an online auction to be held this summer.
In a ceremony held Monday, May 18 at Webster Hall, Ms. James was awarded a 2009 Obie Award for sustained excellence of costume design, with special reference to WIG OUT!, which played a twice-extended run at The Vineyard last fall.
A previously announced live auction, which was to be held Thursday, May 21 at The Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street), has been postponed due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.
Details of the upcoming online auction of Ms. James' costumes from WIG OUT! are to be announced.
