The New Victory Theater will present Egg & Spoon, a "multi-sensory interactive experience" for children ages 2-5, from November 2 through 21.

"Do they think we've just been playing pin the tail on the donkey? No, we give children a high-quality, other-worldly experience, something that they wouldn't get with balloon-folding by Mr. Smiley," says Patrick Lynch, whose Lyngo Theatre from the UK created Egg & Spoon. "Our director, Marcello Chiarenza, is a Jungian and works on a deep, symbolic level. A student of Jung would say that the images we present in Egg & Spoon, like fluffy snowflakes, peek-a-boo puddles and cherry blossoms bursting into full bloom, resonate with The Collective Unconscious," Patrick said. "But to put it another way - they have a ball touching the objects and exploring the different little environments in the show."

Ticket sales have been so strong that The New Victory has added four performances:

Wed 11/3 at 2:30 pm
Wed 11/10 at 2:30 pm
Thur 11/11 at 10:30 am
Fri 11/19 at 10:30 am
To create a comfy, cozy setting, Egg & Spoon will be presented in an intimate studio space - studio 3A/B at the New 42nd Street® Studios, 229 West 42nd Street, a few doors down from The New Victory.
