The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to announce a special encore production of Phil Geoffrey Bond's My Queer Youth, directed by Tony Award-winner, Michele Pawk. The solo performance piece, a humorous look at growing up queer amidst the cornfields of southern Indiana, will play the midtown venue for two performances only:

MONDAYS, November 8 & 15 @ 7pm

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located at 407 West 42nd St., in the heart of New York's theatre district. For reservations, please call 212 695 6909. Tickets are $18. Please note there is also a $15 food/beverage minimum, and full dinner and bar menus are available. The house will open one hour prior to performance.

My Queer Youth is a humorous look at growing up queer in Farmland, USA. From invading the showtune section at the public library to asking a boy out on a date, the solo performance piece is set amongst the rolling cornfields of Southern Indiana, following our hero and his awakening to not only sexuality, but manhood.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Michele Pawk, My Queer Youth features MAC, Bistro and Nightlife Award-winning performer Phil Geoffrey Bond. Bond and Pawk reunite, having collaborated last year on Bond's play, The Disney Diaries, also at The Beechman.
