PTP/NYC announced today that Stephanie Janssen has joined the cast of Howard Barker's The Castle and will perform in select shows in the role of Skinner. Stephanie Janssen's Broadway credits include recent productions of Death of a Salesman and Mrs. Warren's Profession (Roundabout), and her Off-Broadway credits include Clive (The New Group), Ivanov (Classic Stage Company), Territories (PTP/NYC) and Crave (PTP/NYC).
The New York Premiere of Howard Barker's The Castle, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Richard Romagnoli, is part of PTP/NYC's 27th repertory season, along with the company's revival of last season's acclaimed production of Caryl Churchill's Serious Money, directed by PTP's Co-Artistic Director Cheryl Faraone.
The season continues through August 4 in a limited Off-Broadway engagement at The Atlantic Stage 2, located at 330 West 16th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues in New York City. Howard Barker's The Castle is an epic work, blasting apart - with humor and violence - the boundaries of desire, pain, and sexuality.
