BUNKED!, the pop coming of age musical about five summer camp counselors during the summer before the start of their real lives has been published by Samuel French for licensing to regional, stock and amateur markets.

The show by Alaina Kunin (Lyrics, Book) and Bradford Proctor (Music, Book, Lyrics) and sponsored by LogoTV, had a sold out summer 2010 run in FringeNYC and the Fringe Encores Series, winning an award for Best Production of a Musical in the festival and garnering rave reviews.

According to earlier production notes, BUNKED! is a is a touching coming of age comedy about five summer camp counselors during that pivotal summer before the beginning of college. With easily relatable characters experiencing their first tastes of independence, BUNKED! taps into the uncertainty of trying to find oneself while forging first adult relationships. Exploring themes of first loves, growing up, and identity, the show asks the questions “who am I?” “where do I belong?” and “how do I make a name for myself?” with both humor and poignancy.

Upcoming productions of BUNKED! include Syracuse, New York, June 1-16, 2010 by Rarely Done Productions (rarelydone.org).
