Back by popular demand, Shotspeare is returning to New York with its reprehensible renditions of Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth at The Slipper Room (167 Orchard Street, New York, NY 10002). Performances are Monday nights starting April 4th through June 13th, 2016. Tickets are on sale now via www.slipperroom.com.

Shotspeare incorporates a drinking-game sensibility and a drunkard's attention span into the staging of Shakespearean verse, cramming an entire play, five sword-wielding actors, a ridiculous amount of booze and the Wheel of Soliloquy onto a stage and praying for the best.

Shotspeare toured globally with Shotspeare: Romeo & Juliet, playing to raucous crowds in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Australia. Most recently, Macbeth, the second installment of theShotspeare series, was presented in a Halloween engagement from October 28 - November 9, 2015 at the Slipper Room.

Shotspeare features Brian David Sloan, Heidi Brucker Morgan, Timur Kocak, Billy Marshall Jr, Logan James Hall, and Matthew Morgan, who also serves as director. Rachel Moll serves as stage manager.

Romeo & Juliet will be performed on the following dates: April 4 at 8pm; April 11 at 10pm.

Macbeth will be performed on the following dates: April 18 at 8pm; April 25 at 8pm; and May 2 at 8pm.

Additional performance dates for May and June will be announced shortly via www.slipperroom.com.
