Gingold Theatrical Group's Project Shaw, under the leadership of Artistic Director David Staller, presents its 108th concert presentation of Shaw's whimsical Irish play, JOHN BULL'S OTHER ISLAND tonight, November 23 at 7pm, at Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theatre (2537 Broadway at 95th Street).

In JOHN BULL'S OTHER ISLAND, best friends and business partners, Broadbent and Doyle journey back to Doyle's Irish hometown to buy up land to develop. What they don't count on is the power of the locals, particularly Nora Reilly and the defrocked priest, Keegan (who talks to grasshoppers). In fact, the entire town is full of extraordinary characters conspiring to turn this business trip into a hysterical life-changing weekend for all concerned, fueled by plenty of Potcheen.

JOHN BULL'S OTHER ISLAND features Robert Cuccioli (Tom Broadbent), Sean Dugan (Larry Doyle), Mara Davi (Nora), Jonathan Hadley (Tim Haffigan), Patrick Fitzgerald (Keegan), Adam Petherbridge (Patsy Farrell), Sean Gormley (Father Dempsey), Paul O'Brien (Corney Doyle), Robert Creighton (Barney Doran), Drew McVety (Matthew Haffigan), Terry Donnelly (Aunt Judy), and Malachy McCourt will be the Narrator.

David Staller explains, "When Shaw finally wrote his one and only 'Irish play', he was ready to look back at his home country with a mixture of irony and love. The balance he finds between high comedy and a needful heart is quite breathtaking. It's often referred to as his 'magic' play."

Tickets are $30 and are available by calling (212) 864-5400 or online at www.symphonyspace.org.
