Recording Artist MAX to Celebrate Album Release at FUERZA BRUTA This Friday

OZONO Productions, producer of the international smash hit phenomenon, Fuerza Bruta, in association with Brierpatch Productions, announced today that "rising talent (Complex)", singing sensation and recording artist MAX, will celebrate the release of his new CD "Hell's Kitchen Angel" (DCD2 Records) at a special performance on the album's release date,Friday, April 8 at the Daryl Roth Theatre (101 East 15th Street) at 9pm. The rising pop-soul singer will be a featured performer in the show and will debut new music during a post-performance DJ night.

MAX said of making his performance debut, "Fuerza Bruta has been my favorite show for almost 8 years since I first saw it as a freshman in high school. Such an honor to be a part of the show for such a special night celebrating my album release for "Hell's Kitchen Angel"."

The culmination of the De La Guarda legacy, this latest incarnation of Fuerza Bruta takes the audience on a 65-minute thrill ride, including an extra 20 minutes of heart-thrashing, fast-paced fun, rousing live music, mind-blowing projections, and breathtaking aerial displays. With the newly designed giant scenography and scenes set above the audience, the show is sure to present fans of the previous incarnations (and new fans alike) with fresh experiences and guarantee that Fuerza Bruta will deliver theatrical thrills that flood the senses.

The New York City production of Fuerza Bruta originally began performances at the Daryl Roth Theatre in 2007, and recently celebrated its 2,800th performance. Originating in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2005, Fuerza Bruta has been thrilling audiences around the globe for over 10 years. Over 5 million spectators have been captivated in over 25 countries and over 50 cities that include productions in Brazil, Budapest, Istanbul, Peru and China.

Fuerza Bruta plays the following performance schedule: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 p.m., Fridays at 9:00 p.m., Saturdays at 5:00 p.m. & 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 7:00 p.m.

MAX is a New York City born pop-soul singer, actor & dancer, known for his powerful acrobatic tenor which commands attention. His devoted fanbase and original voice has given him an incredibly strong social media presence with over 1.2 million followers on YouTube, 400,000 followers on Twitter and over 940,000 likes on Facebook.

2015 was a banner year for MAX - in February, he signed with Pete Wentz's DCD2 Records and in March, he released the single "Gibberish" featuring Hoodie Allen. The song was one of the selected tracks featured by YouTube for the 2015 YouTube Music Awards alongside songs by Ed Sheeran & Charli XCX, and its groundbreaking music video accumulated over 4.5 million views in just one week and has racked up more than 10.5 million views to date. Additionally, he was one of MTV's 2015 Artists to Watch Summer Class list, named Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month (June), KISS-FM 's Artist of the Week, performed on NBC's TODAY show, and was nominated for Best Breakthrough Artist and Original Song for the 2015 Streamy Awards. MAX spent the summer on the road as a featured performer on the Boys of Zummer tour with Fall Out Boy & Wiz Khalifa before releasing his DCD2 Records-debut EP "Ms. Anonymous" in September.
