Pilot Takes Flight In GROUNDED

Rhonda Wilson, Theater Founder/Director/Actor trades in her many hats for a flight suit to star in George Brant's award winning solo drama, GROUNDED. Rhonda who hails from Florida, is no stranger to the stage. Her work in theater both on and off stage has garnered her several awards regionally and nationally. Her onstage credits include FENCES, TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, THE COLOR PURPLE, A RAISIN IN THE SUN, HOUSE OF BLUE LEAVES, AIN'T MISBEHAVIN', ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, BLUES FOR AN ALABAMA SKY, LADY DAY AT THE EMERSON'S BAR AND GRILL,THE CRUCIBLE and more. Grounded was produced at The Public Theatre in 2015, starring Anne Hathaway The play follows the pilot's journey as her career takes a twist due to an unexpected pregnancy.

Reassigned to operate drones from a trailer, she hunts terrorists by day and returns to her family each night.
