The award-winning York Theatre Company began performances on Sunday, June 19, for the first two titles in its upcoming Musicals in Mufti Series, the York's acclaimed series of musical theatre gems in staged concert performances. Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford's late-70s Off-Broadway hit, I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road will play in repertory with the world premiere of the show's sequel, Still Getting My Act Together from June 19-26, 2011. I'm Getting My Act Together... features Lisa Birnbaum (Abraham Lincoln's Big Gay Dance Party), Jenn Colella (Lucky Guy, High Fidelity), Erik Hayden (Million Dollar Quartet), Jillian Louis, Daniel Robert Sullivan (Jersey Boys, Toronto), Louis Tucci (Buddy) and Jeremy Yaddaw (Musicals in Mufti: I Love My Wife); directed by West Hyler with music direction by John DiPinto.

Still Getting My Act Together features three cast members from the original production of I'm Getting My Act Together...: Betty Aberlin, Gretchen Cryer (librettist) and Margot Rose. Also featured in the cast are Lynne Halliday (Porterphiles), John Hillner (La Cage aux Folles), Greg Landes, Dennis Michael Keefe and Scott Wakefield (Ring of Fire); directed by West Hyler with music direction by Christopher McGovern.

I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road and Still Getting My Act Together will be presented in repertory as a special Musicals in Mufti event, requiring separate tickets for each staged concert performance. York's Musicals in Mufti series has presented over 75 shows from the past in simply-staged concert format; Mufti means -in street clothes, without the trappings associated with the original productions.? Two-show Rep Package tickets are priced at $67.50. Individual tickets for both shows are available at the regular Mufti price of $39.50.
