Celebrated British playwright Jez Butterworth (Mojo, The Night Heron) returns to the Atlantic Theater Company for the premiere of his new play Parlour Song, directed by Atlantic artistic director Neil Pepe, and featuring Chris Bauer, Jonathan Cake and Emily Mortimer.

Parlour Song will officially opening Wednesday, March 5 and a limited engagement through Saturday evening, March 29, 2008 Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).

"Jez Butterworth takes on domestic paranoia in his inimitably sly and incisive style in Mojo and The Night Heron, which explores what happens when two ordinary people discover they hate who they have become. Butterworth reveals a world where all is not what it seems, when a demolitions expert suspects his wife is stealing from him," explain press notes.

The design team for Parlour Song will feature scenic design by Robert Brill, costume design by Sarah Edwards, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Obadiah Eaves and projection design by Dustin O'Neil.

Parlour Song plays Tuesday through Friday at 8PM, Saturday at 2PM & 8PM and Sundays at 3PM.  The performance time on opening night, Monday, March 5 will be 7PM.

Atlantic Theater Company Main Stage at the Linda Gross Theater is located at 336 West 20th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues).  Tickets for main stage productions are $55 and available by calling Ticket Central at 212-279-4200 (ticketcentral.com).
