Photo Flash: Kathryn Gallagher, Celia Keenan-Bolger and Help Kick Off Colt Coeur's 2017-18 Season
Colt Coeur, the Brooklyn-based theater company founded in 2010, celebrated its 2017-2018 season kick-off yesterday evening, October 16th, with a special event in DUMBO. BroadwayWorld has photos from the festivities below!
The event was hosted by Tony Award-nominee Celia Keenan-Bolger and Ato Essandoh of the Academy Award winning film Django Unchained. In addition, the evening featured special performance by Kathryn Gallagher (2015 Broadway revival of Spring Awakening), Kristolyn Lloyd (Dear Evan Hansen), and Colton Ryan (Dear Evan Hansen).
Proceeds from the special evening will benefit the company's 2017-2018 program, which includes the company's ninth world premiere (in special partnership with New York Theater Workshop's inaugural Next Door Series), its second commission (to playwright Antoinette Nwandu), its first partnership with the WP Theater for their fourth annual Parity Plays Festival, and the launch of the CoCo Residents program to benefit six playwrights and directors.
