The one-night-only discussion featured a freewheeling conversation with acclaimed author Cheryl Strayed and Deborah Needleman. Strayed's TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, adapted for the stage by Nia Vardalos; co-conceived by Marshall Heyman, Thomas Kail, and Nia Vardalos; and directed by Thomas Kail, is currently running at The Public Theater through Sunday, December 31, with an official press opening on Wednesday, December 7.
Directed by Michael Friedman, the popular Public Forum series presents conversations and performances with leading voices in politics, media, and the arts that discuss, debate, and further explore the ideas present on The Public Theater's stages.
