Penguin Rep Brings 'Goldman Project' Off-Bway, Opens 10/3

The Penguin Repertory will open their critically acclaimed production of The Goldman Project" off-Broadway October 3 as a joint presentation with the noted Abingdon Theatre Company (312 West 36th  Street).

Written by Staci Swedeen and directed by Joe Brancato, "The Goldman Project is a moving drama that explores the lingering legacy of the Holocaust as an aging survivor is forced to confront the shattering secrets of her long buried past, secrets that have kept her emotionally distant from her only child," explain press notes.

The cast of The Goldman Project includes a trio of Penguin Rep veterans: Sam Guncler, Anita Keal and Bernadette Quigley.

The Goldman Project is designed by Ken Larson (set), Patricia E. Doherty (costumes), Matthew McCarthy (lights), and Dimitri Tisseyre (sound).

The production will start previews on September 28 and run through October 28 with the following schedule: Tuesday - Saturday evenings at 7:30 PM, with matinees on Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 PM.
