Paul Borghese Joins BLOOD TYPE: RAGU As Co-Producer

Accomplished actor, director, producer and distribution executive Paul Borghese has joined Off-Broadway's Blood Type: RAGU as co-producer. Written and performed by Frank Ingrasciotta, Blood Type: RAGU is also presented by Flying Machine Productions at the newly renovated Actors' Playhouse, where the production opened on March 5th to rave reviews.

Directed by Ted Sod, Blood Type: RAGU is a hilarious and poignant exploration of the Sicilian immigrant experience based on The Life of writer/performer Frank Ingrasciotta. You don't have to be Italian to enjoy Blood Type: RAGU. Its universal themes have delighted audiences around the country. This one-man-show features more than 20 characters, who live, love and laugh as they struggle to thrive in a new culture, while nurturing the traditions of the old.

Paul Borghese has participated in producing, directing and/or distributing dozens of films including Document of the Dead, Wonderwall, A Time to Remember, Lady Terminator, Four Deadly Reasons, Searching for Bobby D, The People vs. Larry Flynt, Southpaw, and Dancing for Dollars. He has appeared in numerous films such as Find Me Guilty, Transamerica, Belly, Summer of Sam, Little Manhattan, and The Babysitters, among others.

Frank Ingrasciotta’s New York stage credits include Valley of the Dolls, Three Postcards, Dinner at 8, Edgar Degas in The Girl in the Blue Armchair, and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. TV credits include recurring roles on "Guiding Light," "One Life to Live" and "The Equalizer."

Blood Type: RAGU runs 90 minutes with no intermission. The playing schedule is Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM, and Sunday at 2 PM.
