Summer may be winding down, but camp is still in session at Down Payment Productions! Filling the theatrical void between the end of FringeNYC and the beginning of NYMF comes PINK! by Stacy Davidowitz, directed by BrIan Smith, a new play that offers a voyeuristic glimpse into Bunk 14, where five 12-year-old girls, left to their own devices, navigate a strict social caste system with hilarious and increasingly terrifying results.

For the girls of Camp Sacagawea, camp isn't an eight week vacation; it's a dog-eat-dog microcosm of the adult world they're so desperate to inhabit. Join Ashley, Zoe, Tracy, Samantha, and Abby on a 90-minute thrill ride deep into the unexpectedly dark and dangerous world of 12 year-old girls.

Everyone wants to climb the social ladder, but maybe it's better to stay put on the bottom rung. After all, you never know when you'll be the victim of an accidental shove to the depths of social homicide, or worse. Fresh from success of their hit FringeNYC '08 show, THE REDHEADED MAN (and its extended run at the Barrow Street Theater), DOWN PAYMENT PRODUCTIONS is producing this dark and twisted comedy about the perils of adolescence. Playwright Stacy Davidowitz has previously had work produced in Chicago and California as well as at the Tank Theater, Manhattan Repertory Theater and The Players Loft in New York.

PINK! boasts a cast including Kaela Crawford (Zoe), Julia Giolzetti (Samantha), Caitlin Mehner (Ashley), Alison Scaramella (Tracy), and Stephanie Strohm (Abby) with designs by Amanda Stephens (Sets), Stephanie Alexander (Costumes), Joel E. Silver (Lights) and stage management by Johanna Thelin. Jessica Fisch and BrIan Smith produce with Alex Strum for Down Payment Productions.

PINK! will be presented at the WorkShop Theater Main Stage at 312 West 36th
Street in Manhattan. Performances are Thursday, September 10- Saturday September 12 @ 8pm; Sunday, September 13 @ 3pm and 7pm; Monday, September 14 @ 7pm, Wednesday, September 16-Friday, September 18 @ 8pm, Saturday, September 19 @ 3pm and 8pm; Sunday, September 20 @ 3pm. Tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.
