Olivia Abiassi, Ali Andre Ali, Jenna Bosco, and Waseem Alzer Complete Cast of EH DAH? QUESTIONS FOR MY FATHER
HYPOKRIT THEATER COMPANY announces complete casting for Eh Dah? Questions For My Father. Written by and starring Aya Aziz and directed by Arpita Mukherjee, Eh Dah? Questions For My Father begins performances on Thursday, March 28 for a limited run through Sunday, April 14, with opening night set for Saturday, March 30. Tickets are on sale now at nytw.org.
Joining Aziz in the cast are Olivia Abiassi (Delicacy of a Puffin Heart), Ali Andre Ali (Cereals), Jenna Bosco (Anything New) and Waseem Alzer (We Live in Cairo).
Eh Dah? Questions for my Father follows a family divided across continents and turbulent political landscapes as they search for home and belonging. Spanning generations in Egypt and America, this eclectic new musical by Aya Aziz explores how to discern truth from the stories we are told in a post 9/11 world. Recipient of the Best Book and Outstanding Individual Performance Awards at the 2016 New York Musical Festival.
Eh Dah? Questions For My Father will feature scenic design by Mikiko Suzuki MacAdams, lighting design by Marie Yokoyama, sound design by Brendan Aenes and costume design by Dina El-Aziz. Noriko Sunamoto will serve as music supervisor. Rachel Sussman will serve as executive producer. Li Kennedy will line produce. SL Theatricals will serve as general manager. Emma Frances Philipar will serve as production stage manager. Dramaturgy is by Molly Houlahan.
General admission tickets are $45 and available now. The performance schedule is as follows: Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30pm, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm.
