Taylor Negron's real-life comedic stories about living as a D-list celebrity in Hollywood combine to create Satellites, a night of hilarious and inspirational spoken-word fusion, set to original music by former Minnesota-based singer/songwriter Logan Heftel. Before heading to New York 's Barrow Street Theater in October to begin an open ended run, Satellites returns to Heftel's roots, bringing two intimate performances to Bryant Lake Bowl.

Satellites has received rave reviews in cities all over the world including Los Angeles , Chicago , New York and at the 2007 Edinburgh Comedy Festival with the original music of violin virtuoso Lili Hayden and Louis Durra on piano.

While his name may not immediately ring a bell, Mr. Negron is an accomplished actor, comedian and playwright. He starred in his own HBO special, appeared on "The Tonight Show" and in such films as "Fast Times at Ridgemont High," "Stuart Little," "The Last Boy Scout," "Angels in the Outfield," "The Aristocrats," and the stand-up performance "Epic Punchline" with Sally Field and Tom Hanks. His television appearances include "Friends," "Seinfeld," "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and " Reno 911," among others.

Mr. Negron's experiences with the L.A. riots, the mean streets of New York , comedy classes with Lucille Ball and dinner with the late Benazir Bhutto are just a few true-tales in his collection performed live on stage.

The Twin Cities connection is found in Logan Heftel, former student at McNally-Smith College of Music in St. Paul and current musical talent in Satellites.  After completing school, Mr. Heftel, moved to Los Angeles with no prospects and no money to pursue his dream of being a musician and producer. In an incredible stroke of luck, he met Taylor Negron at a Starbucks on one of his first nights in town, and has been touring the globe with him since.

Satellites is presented by Limerick Media, LLC.

Ticket prices for Satellites are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  Advance purchase can be made by calling 612.825.8949 or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.
