NAKED IN A FISHBOWL Extends At SoHo Playhouse Thru 8/23

Naked in a Fishbowl will continue to swim for an additional two more performances. Due to overwhelming critical and audience approval, the unscripted hilarious episodic comedy Naked in A Fishbowl will now run through August 23rd (originally set to close August 9th) before taking a brief hiatus and re-returning on September 27th at the SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) on Monday nights at 7PM.

Presented by Dragonchase Productions, Naked in a Fishbowl is directed by Hugh Sinclair and stars Katharine Heller, Brenna Palughi, Lynne Rosenberg, and Lauren Seikaly. The unscripted, uninhibited stage sitcom wowed New York audiences during the 2007 NY International Fringe Festival and the cast was presented with the Outstanding Ensemble Award, hailed as the "brightest lights of the festival."

This breakthrough show is the first web sitcom to be filmed in front of a live audience, blurring the lines between theater, TV, and webisodes. Episodes have been viewed and downloaded from all over the world and this season the ladies have been featured on iTunes, Blip TV and Amazon.com.

This exciting, unscripted, episodic play is a unique, theatrical event that eavesdrops on the lives of four women in New York City. Audiences watch a new story unfold every night as the actresses begin with a new location and scenario and then fully improvise the evening's performance. The lives of Bonnie, Jean, Sara, and Sophie are completely exposed in original performances full of raw humor, startling honesty, and infectious comedy.
