A trio of award-winning television actresses will guest star in the hit Off-Broadway comedy "You've Got Hate Mail" this August, including Meg Bennett, from the original Broadway cast of "Grease." The play, which takes a hilarious look at sexting, lies and laptops, is now in its second year.
Tonja Walker, best known as "the woman you love to hate," Alex Olanov Hesser Buchanan, on ABC's "One Life to Live," joins the cast on August 5.
Meg Bennett, who soap opera fans will recognize as the villainous Allegra on "General Hospital," performs on August 12.
Julia Duffy, from TV's "Newhart" and "Designing Women," appears on both August 19 and 26.
Hailed by critics ("The perfect bedroom farce...expertly directed...riotously enacted by a five-person ensemble!" -NY Post) ("A brilliantly written comedy...It doesn't get better than this!" -Show Business) ("A rapid-paced romp with a millennium twist! Hilarious!" -Curtainup.com), "You've Got Hate Mail" is playwrights
Billy Van Zandt and
Jane Milmore's comic take on the world of online hook-ups and break-ups.
