LMAO Expands Labor Day Weekend Schedule

By:

It's the last official weekend of summer. But forecast calls for rain. What to do? What to do? What to do? How about an interactive musical comedy show in New York City?

"LMAO Off-Broadway" has added shows for the big weekend. The show runs Saturdays 3pm and 8pm weekly at Broadway Comedy Club (318 West 53rd Street, New York, NY 10019 - just west of 8th Ave, one block from the Letterman Show). For the back-to-school college crowd and Comedy Club regulars, a show was added Friday (8/30) at 10pm. For the families in town, Sunday (9/1) at 3pm is a great destination for comedy fans of all ages. Tickets for the 90-minute interactive show run $25-50 (Via Ovation Tix 866-811-4111).

Since 2002, the cast of EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH has entertained 4000+ audiences in New York City and touring nationwide to clubs, theaters, colleges, private / corporate events and even K-12 not for profit outreach. The show wraps up the holiday weekend with a show Monday Night at Montclaire State University. For the second Labor Day in a row, Freshman will be greeted back to school with a hilarious musical comedy created on the spot based on audience suggestions and participation.

Starting in a few weeks, EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH will start its fall semester of comedy classes for kids, teens and adults, including a new advanced / professional artist training series. The troupe offer both 6-10 week sessions ($120-150) and drop in classes to audit the programs (just $20).

The Broadway Comedy Club features three stages of live entertainment. Seven night a week, comedy fans can see national headliners from HBO, Showtime, MTV, VH1, Letterman, Tonight Show and Comedy Central. The new Cabaret Café features live singers and grand piano. The Red room is home to NYC's top Short Form Improv Troupes including Eight Is Never Enough, Chicago City Limits and Comedy Sportz.
