LIARS is a collection of eight brand-new comedic plays about deceiving, falsifying, fibbing, and stretching the truth. Join us as we set fire to the pants of Hollywood agents and other sleazy hucksters, and expose cons from tofu to Santa Claus. Playwrights featured will include Jesse Jones, Jeremy Mather, Daniel McCoy, Lindsey Moore, Joe Musso, Caroline O'Hare, Matt Sears, and Jeff Sproul.

Lindsey Moore (Director, Playwright, Weight) is the Executive Producer of No Tea Productions, and is very proud of this show, the company's 6th performance. Lindsey's directorial credits include Plucking Failures like Ripe Fruit, The Artistical Process of Mark and Andy, Already in Progress, and The Pigeon that Cries in My Heart for No Tea Productions, Crux for Broken Arm Productions, Last Rites for the American Theatre of Actors, and WASP for BookPeople Players in Austin.

Jesse Jones (Playwright, The Meeting) has been doing stand-up comedy in NYC for the past three years. He has performed on some of the most acclaimed stages in the city including Gotham Comedy Club, The Comedy Cellar, The New York Comedy Club, and many others. He and his improv group Skylounge etched out a name for themselves performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and all over NYC, also taking part in the Del Close Marathon and the UCB's Cage Match show.

Jeremy Mather (Playwright, Sausage Party) has been involved, in some way or another, with every No Tea production. Jeremy is also a busy filmmaker; several of his shorts have screened at Sundance and he's just completed a new film, Au Revoir, Malady, which also features Sabrina Farhi in a lead role.

Daniel McCoy (Playwright, Peek) is a theatre artist living, working and jiving in New York. His plays include Eli and Cheryl Jump, Sympathy, Group, Goddamn Gorgeous Mess and The Downtown Daylight Project. His work has been produced or workshopped at The Flea Theater, Clubbed Thumb, Gene Frankel Theatre, Highwire Theatre, State of Play Theatre, 13th Street Rep, Elephant Theatre, Source Festival D.C., and Soul Invictus Gallery. Daniel is an ensemble member of the New York Neo-Futurists and can be seen many a Friday and Saturday night performing in Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind at the Kraine Theatre. He is a founding member of Crosstown Playwrights in NYC and a member-at-large of the Elephant Theatre Company in L.A.

Joe Musso (Playwright, Wisconsin) Joe Musso's plays have been presented in thirty states and in Canada. From August 13-30, 2009, Alley Stage in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, will produce his full-length play Voodoo Today Here Now 5. On May 16, 2009, his full-length play Blood Water will receive a staged reading at White Horse Theater Company in NYC. Joe is also a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, Inc.

Caroline O'Hare (Playwright, LOL) has worked on three previous shows with No Tea. For the past several years, she has worked as a producer at MTV and most recently she has been involved with The 'Lab, a short film collaborative. In March, she acted in her first feature film, written and directed by Dan O'Hare.

Matt Sears (Playwright, Lore) is excited to be working with No Tea again, having appeared in The Apologies, Already in Progress, and The Artistical Process of Mark and Andy. His short videos and writings have been featured on popular sites such as Gawker, NBC's Dot Comedy, MTV2.com, and vh1's Webjunk.tv.

Jeff Sproul (Playwright, Evacuation Plan) is the Artistic Director of No Tea Productions. He wrote The Artistical Process of Mark & Andy, which No Tea produced last year, and has performed in all of No Tea's other past productions. He has written and produced plays (Minutes Later, Wake Up Slug!...With Chad and Barb) as well as acted in independent films (Flowers, Women Who Eat Meat) and numerous stage productions in New York and Colorado. Jeff is also a designer, animator, and illustrator, having designed for The New York Musical Theatre Festival, Scholastic Publishing, and of course, No Tea Productions.

Horse Trade Theater Group is a self-sustaining theater development group; with a focus on new work, it has produced a massive quantity of stimulating downtown theater. Horse Trade's Resident Artist Program offers a home to a select group of Independent Theater artists, pooling together a great deal of talent and energy. It is also the home of FRIGID New York - the first and only festival of its kind in New York City.
