WKTU Radio host "Goumba Johnny" will join the cast of My Big Gay Italian Wedding, by Anthony J. Wilkinson, featuring "Amazing Race" winner Reichen Lehmkuhl, Off-Broadway at St. Luke's Theatre, 308 West 46th Street, for one performance only on Friday June 11th. A well known supported of marriage equality, will perform the wedding ceremony of our heroes, Anthony & Andrew... or try to, at least!

Bronx native "Goumba Johnny" Sialiano entered into the radio industry after many career changes. Shortly after graduating SUNY Brockport, Johnny signed as a free agent with the NY Jets and then with the NY Giants. Although both opportunities were a dream for Johnny, he had to retire from the sport due to a neck injury. In the mid-eighties Johnny did character voices and wrote comedy for radio stations across the country from Z-100 in NYC to KIIS FM in LA. With his natural quick wit and charm, Johnny soon performing stand-up at popular Comedy Clubs like Caroline's, Mohegan Sun, and the Borgata and Caesars Palace in Atlantic City and appeared on many TV shows such as "Growing Up Gotti," "The Weakest Link," "The Montel Williams Show," "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," "The CBS Early Show," and "Who Wants to be a Millionaire," among others. Johnny made his New York theater debut portraying Stanley the Bartender in the play A Punch in the Face, and followed this with the role as Paulie in the hit Off-Broadway play Six Goumbas and a Wannabe. Johnny starred in his own comedy special, "Goumba Johnny's Slice of Italian Comedy" on Pay-Per-View, continuing to gain fans nationwide (now available on DVD). In 2008, Johnny penned his first book - So You Wanna Be a Mobster: Get Made! Get Paid! Get Babes! Start Your Own Mafia Family! (Citadel Publishing), the ultimate comedic self-help yourself book on how to start your own mafia family. In Johnny's free time his efforts are donated to many charitable organizations where he has worked tirelessly to raise countless dollars. In 2002 he was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Cooley's Anemia Foundation, which previously honored him for his charitable work. He continues to help organizations such as The Bowery Rescue Mission, the Autism Foundation, The Elizabeth Fund for Lupus, many police organizations, and many others. KTU discovered Johnny in 1996 and originally brought him on as a writer. The chemistry that he brought to the station was too good to waste behind the scenes. Goumba Johnny was so successful as a co-host in the evening slot that the KTU executives made him co-host of their Morning Show. Goumba Johnny is now heard on in the afternoons on KTU Monday through Friday from 3pm-7pm for the "Hollywood Hamilton and Goumba Johnny" Show. Visit www.goumbajohnny.com for more information.

Planning a wedding can be hell... or a hell of a lot of fun! Two handsome grooms, one overbearing Italian mother, a jealous ex-boyfriend, the wedding planner from Hell, and an assortment of kooky family and friends all gather together for Off-Broadway's newest laugh-out-loud comedy with a heart.

When the original production of My Big Gay Italian Wedding premiered in 2003, the idea of GAY MARRIAGE was a fantasy. In 2010, the International debate on Gay Marriage reaches new heights: Gay Marriage is now legal in eight and a half countries (Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Spain, Sweden and parts of Mexico) and six states in the US (Connecticut, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and District of Columbia). So playwright Anthony Wilkinson has gone back to the typewriter and brought his acclaimed comedy into this new era of hope and optimism for same sex marriage.

Performances of My Big Gay Italian Wedding will be at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). Tickets are $26.50 to $69.50, including $1.50 restoration fee, and are available through Telecharge.com or by phone at 212/239-6200.
