FUERZA BRUTA NYC to Celebrate 2,000th Performance, June 27

In celebration of the 2000th performance of FUERZA BRUTA NYC, the cast and crew will take part in a special cake cutting ceremony to kick off an unforgettable and historic performance on June 27th, 2013, at the Daryl Roth Theatre.

FUERZA BRUTA was created by Argentinean artistic director Diqui James with the goal of forming a theatrical company in which creativity and experimentation are priorities. Since its critically-acclaimed NYC debut on October 24, 2007, the production has played nearly 2,000 performances for nearly one million audience members that include some of Hollywood's biggest stars like Usher, Kanye West, Leonardo DiCaprio, Blake Lively, Beyoncé Knowles, Jay-Z and many others.

FUERZA BRUTA recently finished a South American tour and recently concluded its second run in London at the Roundhouse, which it will reprise in December this year. The production will tour China, Japan, Russia and Italy in 2013. Since conception, FUERZA BRUTA has toured around the world in cities including Edinburgh, Cordoba, Sao Paulo, Rosario, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Queretaro, Antwerp, Bilbao, Taipei, Madrid, Berlin, Tel Aviv and many others.
